Jason Graham

Jason is a Mizzou alum who hails from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, so naturally he's a huge college football fan.  He has a piece of the goalpost he helped tear down when Missouri beat Nebraska for the first time in 25 years and a football autographed by Nick Saban (after he joined the Tide, of course).  That said, he'd still rather spend a Saturday morning watching the English Premier League instead of ESPN's Big 10 game.  Jason lives in DC with his fiancee, Stephanie, and their two cats.

LeGarrette Blount Reinstated

LeGarrette Blount Reinstated

The University of Oregon has officially reinstated LeGarrette Blount to its football team, allowing him to suit up and play in Saturday's game against Arizona State.  According to a press release, on October 2 coach Chip Kelly opened the door for Blount to return contingent upon "completing a series of conditions to the satisfaction of athletics department, University and Pac-10 officials."  Five weeks later, Blount2.0 is ready to be deployed.

I am sure this has absolutely nothing to do with the loss to Stanford and protecting its increasingly threatened possibility at a conference title.  No, this has everything to do with the rehabilitation of a young man who should not be overly punished for a single mistake.  And boosters only give players slaps on the back and hearty handshakes.

Blount added his own statements, including wanting everyone to know that his "actions can speak louder than anything [he] can say."  I'd agree: a punch like the one he landed had to make some noise.  Kidding, Oregon fans!

You can catch Blount's return on ESPN as part of an expanded Saturday Night Fights.  Sorry, had to get that last one in.  Welcome back, Blount.  I hope you've really grown.
