Obama for Heisman: Make Your Vote Count!

Obama for Heisman: Make Your Vote Count!

"Obama for Heisman" is a meme that's begging to take off -- and we here at Buster aim to really get it rolling. Now, Obama can't actually win the Heisman Trophy -- he would have to actually accomplish something in the area of college football before anyone would just hand him one of the most important awards in the world, right? Exactly!

But he can win a vote. And here's how: head over to ESPN.com, where the folks there have apparently teamed with Nissan (the trophy's presenting sponsor, natch) to give the fans 1 vote (which, yes, does sum up ESPN's attitude towards the fans well) in this year's Heisman balloting.

As a fan, you're offered any number of options -- Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, Mark Ingram, Tony Pike, Case Keenum, Jacory Harris -- but most importantly, you're offered an "OTHER" slot. That's right -- you can write in any name you want.

Which means that you and me, America, we gots to get rolling on Obama for Heisman 2009. It's the only sane thing to do if you want to make sure he does something awesome in football three years from now.

even Tebow didn't win as a Freshman. Wait till his second year of eligibility.

So I vote for Obama hoping he can change and accomplish great things even though he has no experience and hasn't done anything yet right? Because that sounds good to me. We're still talking about football right?
