(Update: Turns out it was a concussion for Tebow, but no 'bleeding on the brain'.)

The collective breath of the Florida Gators, and dare we say sports fans everywhere was held on Saturday night as Tim Tebow was injured n Florida's victory over the Kentucky Wildcats. In the third quarter, Tebow's head made contact with the front of Gators offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert's knee.

Tebow and company had the game well in hand before the hit, but the repercussions were certainly scary. Tebow laid on the ground for several minutes not moving, before finally being helped to the sideline. Updates as to Tebow's condition were not available at the time of this writing. The Gator's have an off week next week, which may help Tebow with recovery.

It is not known at this time if the lives of the medical staff at Kentucky were made better from spending ten minutes with Tebow.
